Clearing up, especially in the garden, is getting very expensive. As we try to behave more responsibly by recycling everything we can, whenever possible, we are being charged more than ever for disposing of the things we can’t re-use. For example, a pile of old paving slabs from a broken up patio is really expensive to get rid of. Not to mention the damage taking them to the local dump could do to your car, or more importantly your back! And then to be charged at least £4.00 just for one slab, and much more than that for a whole pile bagged up, seems exorbitant.
And garden waste collection is getting expensive too. Average UK prices are now over £40 per year, but in some areas they are nearly double that.
So why not save money. Our charge for collecting and disposing of bags of hardcore including slabs and rubble is 25% less than the council charge if you take it there yourself! Our charges to come and collect general rubbish, including garden waste start at £60, which is lower than our competitors. For £80 we’ll take a quarter of a van load, which to give you an idea, is 2.5 Cubic Yards, roughly the size of a settee and a washing machine.
